Body of missing man last seen in Idyllwild found

The body of Piotr Hopper-Jasinksi has been found.

Hopper-Jasinksi was reported missing from his residence on the 54800 block of South Circle in Idyllwild Tuesday.

The 62-year-old’s body was found Wednesday afternoon in the area of the 54000 block of Village Center Drive, less than a half mile from his home.

According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, there were no signs of foul play in his death.

Authorities informed the public when he went missing that he suffered from multiple medical conditions, did not drive, and did not own a cell phone. According to family members, his disappearance was out of character.
