Coachella hosting food truck event

A food truck park is coming to Coachella next week.

For three straight weekends starting Friday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. several food trucks and vendors will have some of their favorite dishes available for sale.

Eric Becerril, an organizer of the event, said more than 20 businesses will be participating. Becerril says he hopes the event can help some individuals start their own food businesses.

“We have a lot of people that are interested in not just coming here but interested in learning more about starting a business and this would be their spot to start. We’ve been assisting people the last couple of months teaching them how to start a business a restaurant,” Becerril said.

You can find the Food Truck Park on 4th Street and Vine Avenue, near Coachella Veterans Memorial Park. The event will be held on the weekends of March 8-10, 15-17, & 22-24.
