Authorities seek man accused of attempted murder in Yucca Valley
The San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a man wanted for attempted murder.
San Bernardino resident Gregory Brazee, 35, is wanted for the allegedly attempting to kill a woman at a residence in Yucca Valley.
According to a news release by the Sheriff’s Department, Monday at 6:57 p.m., deputies responded to a call of a woman and children screaming at the 6400 block of Avalon Ave in Yucca Valley.
The woman told deputies Brazee broke inside her home through her daughter’s bedroom window. The woman said she was bathing her children when Brazee approached her and “choked her with both his hands and shoved her against the bathroom wall.”
The woman said as she was beginning to lose consciousness, Brazee punched her in the face, causing swelling and redness. The woman said she was able to headbutt Brazee, which caused him to let go of her. She then grabbed all three of her children and put them inside of her vehicle. Brazee left the area when he heard neighbors contacting police.
Authorities said the woman and her children have been relocated to a domestic violence shelter.
The Sheriff’s Department released a 2018 booking photo of Brazee.
