Missing 81-year-old found

The California Highway Patrol confirmed Ruth Darling has been found.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is asking for the community’s help in finding a missing woman last seen in Palm Desert Wednesday afternoon.

Ruth Darling, 81, is described as 5 foot, 2 inches tall, with hazel eyes, and silver hair.

Darling was last seen today in the 74100 block of Velardo Drive at around 1:30 pm wearing blue sweatpants and sandals.

RSO says has no access to a vehicle or cell phone. She also has a medical condition that requires her to take medication.
