Family seeks public’s help finding missing teenage girl

The family of a Coachella Valley girl is seeking the public’s help finding her.

16-year-old Cassidy Hayes was last seen in the Tuscany area of Rancho Mirage on Thursday, April 11. She was staying in this area over the last couple of weeks with her father and stepmother. She left a note at her father’s home that she was running away.

Cassidy has Bipolar Disorder and Borderline personality disorder and needs medication, according to her family.

Her mother and stepfather live in Cathedral City.

According to Cassidy’s family, she ran away wither her 20-year-old boyfriend, who is reportedly ‘bad news’ according to investigators. The boyfriend has told family members that Cassidy is not with him.

Cassidy was in the area of Portola Palms in Palm Desert over the weekend, a friend told her stepfather over text message. Investigators told Cassidy’s father that she was not found in the area of Portola Palms.
