DEA serves warrant in Palm Desert

Drug Enforcement Administration agents are served three warrants in the Coachella Valley today, including one in Palm Desert, according to Special Agent Kyle Mori of the DEA.

The law enforcement activity began around 7:00 a.m., according to employees at area businesses. Tuesday morning at a building located on the 34700 block of Spyder Circle in Palm Desert near Clymer’s Body Shop. No arrests have been made yet, but, according to Mori, arrests are planned.

Any suspects arrested Tuesday will be arraigned in federal court, possibly in Riverside, on Wednesday.

DEA agents, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department deputies, and Cal Fire crews responded to the scene.

Agents were seen entering the building and removing boxes labeled ‘DEA’ that were inside of the unit.

Hazmat crew arrived on scene at around 11:50 a.m.
