WATCH: Tiger at high desert preserve plays in Thanksgiving snow
Video shows a tiger at the 80-acre Magic Jungle Wildlife Preserve in Lucerne Valley having themselves a little snow play day this Thanksgiving.
The 80-acre preserve is one of only 40 preserves in California licensed as a wildlife rescue shelter. It is a completely volunteer-based organization surviving solely on donations and grants.
The preserve is currently home to a dozen animals. Recently, the preserve welcomed a brand new group of Arctic White Wolves, native to areas more used to this kind of weather.
Kele Younger, the founder and director of the Magic Jungle Wildlife Preserve, says they don't sell the animals.
"They come in and they live the rest of their lives in safety, in peace, and in tranquility,” Younger said.
