Indian Canyon Drive reopens at the wash in Palm Springs

Indian Canyon Drive has reopened at the wash in Palm Springs.

The closure went into effect Thursday afternoon at 2:41 p.m.

The Palm Springs Police Department announced that the closure had been lifted as of 9:23 a.m.

The closure was due to heavy rains which made the roadway impassable. To the southeast, Cathedral Canyon Drive was also closed Thursday due to flooding in the wash.
