Police searching for suspect wanted for deadly hit-and-run

There is a heavy police presence in a Rancho Mirage neighborhood where a suspect wanted for a deadly hit-and-run was last seen.

California Highway Patrol units, assisted by Riverside County Sheriff's Deputies are in the area of San Gorgonio Way and Dune Views Road, just off Highway 111.

Police confirmed the suspect is wanted for a hit-and-run that occurred in Anza. Officers made contact with the suspect at around 4:30 p.m., however, the suspect foot bailed.
