Vehicle overturns in Cathedal City, no injuries

Police and fire crews are at the scene of an accident in Cathedral City Thursday evening.

At around 7:16 p.m., a vehicle ended up on its side near the intersection of Date Palm Drive and Varner Road.

A witness on scene said that one of the involved drivers was looking directions on their phone before the accident occurred.

The Cathedral City Police Department confirmed no one was injured in the accident. No word on any road closures.
