Two people injured in crash on interstate 10
Two people are in serious condition after the sedan they were riding in crashed into a fifth wheel trailer.
The accident was reported just after 11 o'clock Saturday morning on eastbound Interstate 10 near Hayfield Road.
Cal Fire says both people in the sedan had to be extricated.
Both were taken to a hospital by helicopter.
The CHP says the roadway is back open, but traffic was slowed after the crash and during the investigation.
No word yet on what caused the accident.
