U.S. Women’s Olympic Softball team competing in Cathedral City this month
The Team USA - Women's Olympic Softball team has chosen to compete in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic being held later this month at Big League Dreams Sports Park in Cathedral City.
The 2020 USA Softball Women's National Team looks to stay in top form as they look to bring home a Gold Medal in the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. Team USA chose to compete in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic due to the top competition it offers this year.
Along with Team USA, 29 NCAA Division 1 softball teams will compete in the highly acclaimed tournament.
Team USA will compete in four exhibition contests including a match up with the reigning NCAA National Champion, UCLA.

- Team USA vs. UC-San Diego, Friday, February 21, 8 pm
- Team USA vs. University of Utah, Saturday, February 22, 8 pm
- Team USA vs. UCLA, Sunday, February 23, 11:30 am
"The City of Cathedral City and the Greater Coachella Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau is proud to host the Team USA while they are staying in Cathedral City," reads the announcement by Cathedral City.
