Former White House Press Secretary Sanders takes center stage at local fundraiser

Sarah Huckabee Sanders, former White House press secretaries of President Donald Trump, is attending the seventh annual Heartbeat of Love luncheon organized by Mama's House.

Mama's House, a Palm Desert-based nonprofit, provides shelter for pregnant women.

On Friday, a private reception was held for "major donors" of Mama's House.

Sanders is set to speak at 11 a.m. Saturday at Indian Wells Renaissance Resort and Spa on 44400 Indian Wells Lane.
