21st Annual Radiothon starts Feb 20, help raise money for St. Jude Children’s

The KUNA-FM "Promesa y Esperanza" 21st annual Radiothon is this Thursday and Friday. Help raise money to support the treatments and medical research related to cancer and other catastrophic diseases at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Volunteers will be taking donations at 1-800-626-8432 from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday and Friday.

KUNA-FM Promesa y Esperanza will be live on the air sharing a collection of St. Jude patient stories, along with other radio content increasing awareness and raising funds supporting the hospital's lifesaving work.

Many local businesses will be in the fight against childhood cancer by donating to St Jude through the radiothon and offering special incentives to the local community that call over the next two days to become "Partners in Hope" ($20/mo donation is a Partner in Hope).

One example is Carniceria Rancho Grande will be giving away $2,400 worth of groceries or “Groceries for a Year!” among "Partners in Hope." St. Jude staff will hold a raffle over the next two days for this grand prize.

Since the very first radiothon, the local community has helped raise over $2.8 million for the kids of St. Jude.
