JASON GONZALEZ VIGIL

One year ago today, Jason Perez Gonzalez, 30, of Indio was stabbed to death at a Jeep run in Ocotillo Wells, about two miles west of Highway 86.

Authorities say Jason was found with multiple stab wounds on his chest and back and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Perez Gonzalez's loved ones gathered at 44105 Jackson Street for a candlelight vigil Monday evening.

Anyone with information on Perez Gonzalez's murder can call Valley Crimestoppers at 760-341-7867. Tips can remain anonymous and you may be eligible for a cash reward.
