Cathedral City Police investigate a homicide
A shooting in Cathedral city leaves one man dead Saturday night.
Officers from the cathedral city police department have confirmed the male adult has died from multiple gunshot wounds.
The man was found in his vehicle after colliding with a tree in the area of Mccallum way and Avenida Alvera.
He was pronounced dead at the scene after cathedral city fire paramedics attempted life-saving efforts but did not succeed.
The identity of the man has not been released.
Cathedral city detectives are continuing the investigation as a homicide and ask anyone who was a witness to this crime or have information to please call 760-770-0300.
