Indian Canyon Drive reopens to traffic following collision

Two people were hospitalized early Thursday morning after a traffic collision involving a big rig semi truck in Desert Hot Springs.

Two people had to be pulled from the wreckage at Indian Canyon Drive and Mission Lakes Boulevard.

Police said one had suffered moderate injuries while the other was more seriously hurt.

Indian Canyon Drive remained closed throughout the morning from Mission Lakes Boulevard to Worsley Road, according to police as an investigation was underway. The road was reopened shortly before 9:00 a.m.
