57-year-old killed rollover crash in Cathedral City
The Cathedral City Police Department confirmed that a single-vehicle rollover is a fatal incident.
The crash was reported at around 4:58 p.m. in the area of Date Palm Drive and Varner Road, north of Varner Road.
Police confirmed Date Palm was closed in both directions from I-10 to Varner for several hours.
The coroner's office later identified the victim as Heriberto Valeriano, 57, of Desert Hot Springs. Valeriano was pronounced dead at the scene.
Valeriano was identified by police as the of the driver of the vehicle.
