One person dead after rollover crash in Idyllwild

At least one person is dead after a rollover crash in Idyllwild involving an SUV.

It happened just after 2:30 Sunday afternoon in the area of State Route 243 and the Forest Service Vista Grande Fire Station 51.

A section of State Route 243 was closed while the crash was being investigated. It has since reopened.

One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition. Two others suffered moderate injuries.

No word yet on how the crash happened.
