Vice President Kamala Harris departs from Palm Springs

Vice President Kamala Harris has left Palm Springs. She landed just after 7 p.m. on Friday night at the Palm Springs International Airport.

Harris departed from Joint Base Andrews earlier Friday evening.

According to the White House, Harris stayed overnight in Palm Springs and will return to Washington D.C. on Saturday.

There is no reason listed for the visit.

News Channel 3 never confirmed where Harris stayed for her overnight visit, however, there was heavy police presence noticed at the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa before she departed Saturday.
