Vegetation fire burning in Desert Hot Springs

According to Cal Fire, a vegetation fire is burning in the 17400 block of Angelus Vista, in Desert Hot Springs. Fire officials say it started at 9:45 p.m. and is 1/4 acre in size. It is reportedly burning in moderate to heavy fuels. KESQ is monitoring the fire and will bring you updates when they become available.
