College of the Desert lifting mask mandate
College of the Desert will no longer require masks to be worn while on campus.
School officials announced on Thursday that the mask mandate will be lifted on campus starting May 31.
"All students, staff, and faculty are still strongly encouraged to wear masks when indoors on campus. The vaccine mandate remains in effect in accordance with recommendations provided by the CDC."
