911 service restored in Palm Springs, Cathedral City, and Indio

Cathedral City and Indio confirmed Tuesday that 911 lines were back in the city.
Cathedral City police ask residents to continue to call (760) 770-0303 for all non-emergency calls.

911 phone lines were restored in Palm Springs Monday after being down Sunday. Service continued to face disruptions in Cathedral City and Indio. There was no timetable for the lines to return, officials said.

The Riverside County Sheriff's Office has not reported similar issues with its 911 line, but Sunday morning, the agency shared its alternate lines in case there were issues getting through.

Palm Springs Police said at 9:21 a.m. that 911 Emergency Calls were again being routed to its call center.
A statement said to please use 760-327-1441 for non-emergency calls in Palm Springs.
