Weapon Scare at High Desert School Forces Lockdown
Students at Twentynine Palms High School were placed under a lockdown Friday morning at 9 a.m.,
The Morongo Unified School District said there were reports of a student with a weapon on the campus of Twenty Nine Palms High School.
A San Bernardino County Sheriff's Investigation found no evidence of a weapon on campus.
The lockdown was lifted at 10:30 a.m. Friday morning.
The District released a statement, saying in part "We want you to know that we take the safety of your students and our campus very serious. It is our priority to educate your students in a safe and comfortable environment. With that being said, we continue to as that if you see something, say something."
