Angus Young from AC/DC came to the High Voltage pop up at Club 5 in Indio

Angus Young (AC/DC's Guitarist) surprised a crowd of fans at the AC/DC High Voltage pop-up at Club 5 in Indio. The crowd surrounded Young as he walked the grounds of the bar. A local security company, Serna and Associates, walked Young around the bar so he could see every part of the pop-up and meet his fans. He went inside and ended his walk-through at the mural that was on the side of the bar.

"It was incredible," says a fan who drove from Orange County, Erik Westrum. "I've wanted to see ACDC since I rode my bike to the mall in 1982 to buy my first album, back in Black. My first vinyl, I wanted to see them for the last 40 years. I finally got my wish."

Another fan all the way from the United Kingdom was able to get close enough to Young for him to sign his battle vest. "Angus is a great guy.," says John Arnold. "He was absolutely mobbed. And to be one of the ones that just at the back. And just, you know, everyone's just trying to get on top of him. And I was just lucky enough to be at the back as he came. And I asked Angus any chance to sign in the jacket."

Young saw himself in the mural that was painted on the side of the bar.

The bar owner says the mural is here to stay even after the pop-up is torn down. "I hope that it gives the community the locals and opportunity to get to experience what they couldn't experience if they couldn't go to the real festival, the power trip festival," says Club 5 bar owner Carmen Franco. "I mean, the bars gonna stay like this for a while. I want the locals to come down and experience that."
