Three people displaced after fire at home in Coachella
Two adults and a child were displaced after a fire heavily damaged a home in Coachella.
The fire was reported at around 4:30 p.m. on the 84000 block of Lingayan Avenue, east of Van Buren.
Crews arrived minutes later and found the single-story house fully engulfed in flames, a Cal Fire spokesperson told News Channel 3.
The fire was contained just after 5 p.m.
No injuries were reported but the Red Cross has been called in to help with displaced residents.
There was no word on a possible cause of the fire. Stay with News Channel 3 for any updates.
