School bus involved in rear-end collision with students aboard, no students injured

First responders were on the scene of a collision involving a fully loaded school bus and another car as students were on their way to school Tuesday morning east of Desert Hot Springs.

The First Student school bus was rear-ended along Dillon Road near Johnson Road in Desert Edge.

One person in the passenger vehicle suffered minor injuries, according to a CalFire. CHP says that no students on the bus were injured.

The California Highway Patrol, a CalFire firetruck, and an ambulance were on the scene tending to those involved which caused some traffic delays in the area.
