Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament continues to raise millions for St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital

Golfers teed-off earlier this morning at the 14th annual Patrick Warburton Celebrity Golf Tournament.

The charity event broke records this year with its golf tournament raising $5.4 million alone.

The sold-out charity event raises money for Saint Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, and has raised over $31.9 million to date.

Those who donated to the cause had their chance to play golf with 75 celebrities in attendance.

“You're helping these little kids with drastic cancers. And these guys have made incredible progress since 1962 when Danny Thomas started at the the hospital. I've been to the hospital, it's a very special place and it's very easy to come and help out," said Jim McMahon, Former NFL Quarterback.

“I have children and once you have children and then you see other children that are sick, automatically, you're super sensitive once you have kids," said 'Botched' star, Dr. Paul Nassif. "The funding which of course takes care of the whole family for everything. They don't have to pay one penny. That's why this is this is the best charity ever.”

The funds raised from the tournament will help pay for cancer treatments, travel, housing and food for families.

St. Jude says the Warburton Tournament is its highest grossing golf fundraiser in the nation.
