Tickets now on sale for 5th Annual St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway

Tickets for the 5th Annual St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway are now on sale.

The home is being built inside the Bajada Estates in La Quinta. The 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath (plus flex room) house will be built by GHA Companies and is worth an estimated $850,000.

St. Jude, located in Memphis, takes patients from all over the world and does not charge families for treatment or housing or food or travel. But in order to cover that, the hospital has to fundraise.

And that's where News Channel 3 and the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway comes in.

These giveaways are possible with companies donating construction materials, labor, appliances and more.

Tickets are $100 each, with a maximum of 17,500 sold.

Act quickly and reserve your St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway ticket by Friday, February 2nd and you’ll be eligible to win the house AND ALL of the additional prizes! That’s right—more ways to win while helping St. Jude! Get your ticket now to be eligible to win all these prizes:

All of that money goes toward helping families with children fighting cancer pay for treatment and more – so they can focus on helping their child get better. For one patient who came from Colombia, the experience left such an impression that her father decided to join the staff at St. Jude.

"It was such a blessing because, as I mentioned in Colombia, we didn't have the money to cover all of this," AnaCarolina Duran, a former St. Jude patient said. "Looking back, it's just really scary to actually realize this now that I'm older."

The drawing will be held in April.
