Fire damages three Conex boxes in Mecca

A fire damaged three Conex boxes in Mecca Thursday night.

The fire was reported at around 7:30 p.m. on Lincoln Street, south of 70th Avenue.

Smoke was visible around the East Valley area.

Firefighters were able to stop the fire. They'll remain on scene until around midnight for clean-up.

Officials said the Conex boxes contained agricultural materials.

The cause remains under investigation.
