Overturned semi-truck spills fuel, sand on I-10 near Cook Street overpass

The westbound on-ramp has been shut down on Cook Street after a semi-truck overturned on the Interstate 10.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the overturned semi-truck spilled approximately 10 gallons of diesel gasoline and sand on the road.

The semi truck was blocking the ramp, two lanes, and a road sign. The crash was cleared at around 11:30 a.m.

CHP Officer David Torres confirmed that there were no injuries.

Google Maps shows that traffic was backed to Washington Street as of 11:30 a.m.
