Influenza cases rise in RivCo, what you need to know this “sick season”

"Sick season" is here, viruses are circulating.

According to a Riverside University Health Respiratory Dashboard, the county is seeing an uptick in influenza emergency visits.

There have been about 5,000 visits since October, up nearly 3%. Officials predict that to go higher.

Meanwhile, COVID and RSV related visits remain stable.
