Indian Canyon, Gene Autry reopen Tuesday in Palm Springs

Gene Autry Trail was reopened just before Noon.

Indian Canyon reopened just before 3:00 p.m.

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - The City of Palm Springs announced that both N. Indian Canyon Drive and Gene Autry Trail were closed due to wind and low visibility as of 6:00 Monday evening. That closure continued Tuesday morning.

Indian Canyon was closed from Sunrise Parkway to Garnet Avenue.

Gene Autry Trail was closed from Salvia Road to Via Escuela.

Drivers should plan to take alternate routes including Highway 111, Dinah Shore Drive, Vista Chino, or Ramon until the closed roads are reopened.
