Palm Springs Symphony ready to start its inaugural season
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ) - The new Palm Springs Symphony is getting ready to kick off its inaugural season.
The Symphony is a professional orchestra composed of 50 local musicians dedicated to bringing world class music to the Coachella Valley.
And it's the official Symphony-in-Residence of the newly renovated Plaza Theatre. Its first performance will be on Sunday evening.
Palm Springs Symphony Director of Marketing Nathan Truesdell says, "Having a Palm Springs Symphony just makes sense. When I moved here three years ago, I was surprised. I couldn't believe we didn't already have one. So I'm really excited to see this come together."
News Channel 3's Peter Daut spoke in-depth with Truesdell about the upcoming season for the Symphony.
There are several shows scheduled throughout the season, and tickets are still available.
