One person injured in shooting Sunday night in Yucca Valley

YUCCA VALLEY, Calif. (KESQ) - One person was hospitalized after a shooting Sunday night in Yucca Valley.

The shooting was reported at around 9:50 p.m. on the 57000 block of Chipmunk Trail.

Details remain limited; however, authorities confirmed a person was found at the scene with a gunshot wound. There was no word on the extent of their injuries or current condition.

The investigation remains ongoing.
