CCHS teacher placed on admin leave after allegations of inappropriate conduct with student

CATHEDRAL CITY, Calif. (KESQ) - A teacher at Cathedral City High School was placed on administrative leave following allegations of inappropriate conduct with a female student, the district confirmed on Wednesday.
According to a statement from the Palm Springs Unified School District, officials received a report and the teacher was placed on administrative leave.
PSUSD noted that relevant outside agencies have been informed. News Channel 3 has reached out to the Cathedral City Police Department for information, but we have not heard back as of Wednesday afternoon.
An investigation is underway with the district and law enforcement.
