Person dies after suffering medical emergency, minor crash in Palm Desert

PALM DESERT, Calif. (KESQ) - A motorist died today after experiencing a medical emergency and colliding into another vehicle in Palm Desert, authorities said.   

It happened around 10 a.m. Tuesday at 78152 Varner Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The agency said a driver in a white Toyota Tacoma experienced an unspecified medical emergency, and a minor crash occurred. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were immediately reported.
