Person suffers serious injuries after fire at mobile home in Desert Edge

DESERT EDGE, Calif. (KESQ) - A person was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries after a fire at a mobile home in Desert Edge Thursday night.

The fire was reported at around 10:10 p.m. on the 18100 block of Langlois Road, in an unincorporated community between Sky Valley and Desert Hot Springs.

Upon their arrival, firefighters were in rescue mode for a reported victim trapped. The person was taken to the hospital via an ambulance.

The fire has since been contained to the structure. Firefighters will remain on-scene for another four hours working on overhaul.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. ‬

The Palm Springs Fire Department has been called to assist.
