Greater Palm Springs Pride announces 2026 Grand Marshals for 40th anniversary

PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KESQ)— Greater Palm Springs Pride has announced the honorees for its 40th Anniversary Pride Parade, taking place Sunday, Nov. 8, 2026, under the theme “Be Included.”

This year’s parade will recognize four individuals whose work and contributions have helped uplift the LGBTQIA+ community locally and nationally.

Comedian, writer and actor Fortune Feimster has been named National Grand Marshal. Known for her Netflix stand-up specials and roles in television and film, Feimster will also perform her show Fortune Feimster: Takin’ Care of Biscuits (Encore) at the Plaza Theatre at 8 p.m. on Pride Sunday.

Cheyenne Jackson, the GRAMMY- and Emmy-nominated actor, singer and songwriter, will serve as Celebrity Grand Marshal. Jackson, whose credits include Broadway, American Horror Story, Glee and 30 Rock, will perform at the McCallum Theatre at 6 p.m.

Longtime Palm Springs entertainer and community figure Marshall Pearcy, known as Dottie DuBois of Dottie DuBois & Maude, will be honored as Pride Royalty for Life in recognition of decades of service and the legacy of Les Dames Du Soleil.

Gary Moline will receive the Community Service Award for more than 25 years of civic and LGBTQIA+ community involvement, including his leadership with the Palm Springs Desert Winds and Greater Palm Springs Pride.

The 40th Annual Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade steps off at 10 a.m. Nov. 8 on Palm Canyon Drive at Tachevah, traveling south through downtown Palm Springs before concluding at the entrance to the Pride Festival. The festival is free and open to the public, with live entertainment, vendors, resource booths and community programming. KESQ News Channel 3 is a proud sponsor of the parade.
