At least 3 people were wounded in shooting in downtown Holyoke, Massachusetts, police say

HOLYOKE, Mass. (AP) — Police in Holyoke, Massachusetts, say at least three people were shot and transported to a hospital in the city’s downtown area. The condition of those shot has not been released by police. Police say a preliminary investigation indicates one of the victims was on a bus that was passing through the area Wednesday afternoon. State police said that at about 12:44 PM they sent patrols, K9 teams and investigative units to help Holyoke Police with the investigation including the search for suspects. Holyoke Mayor Joshua Garcia is expected to provide more details about the shooting later in the afternoon.
