Correction: South Sudan-Abyei Conflict story

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — In a story published on November 19, 2023, and November 20, 2023 about heavy fighting in the Abyei region of Africa, The Associated Press erroneously reported that a U.N peacekeeper was among the people killed. The U.N., correcting information provided by an official in the region claimed by both Sudan and South Sudan, said no peacekeeper was killed or wounded.
