Toasty, breezy for event filled day in the valley

THOUSAND PALMS, Calif. (KESQ) — Greater Palm Springs Pride Parade starts this morning at 10 a.m. Temperatures will be favorable, in the low 80s, at that time.

The Pride Parade isn't the only event today, though. WTA Finals matches begin at noon, when temperatures are expected to reach the mid-80s.

Santa Ana winds continue to blow through the Valley but are less noticeable today than yesterday. However, winds will pick up this afternoon, with sustained speeds above 10 mph and gusts reaching around 17 mph.

Warm, above-average temperatures will continue through Veterans Day. By Friday of next week, however, temperatures will return to the lower 80s, closer to average for this time of year.
