PONTIAC, Mich. (AP) — The involuntary-manslaughter trial of a Michigan school shooter’s mom has ended after seven days of emotional testimony. Jurors will begin deliberating on Monday. Closing arguments were delivered by both sides on Friday. Prosecutors tried to attack Jennifer Crumbley’s credibility during their cross-examination Friday. A day earlier, Crumbley denied knowing her son had mental health struggles. She also rejected claims that she should be responsible for the deaths of four students at Oxford High School in 2021. Prosecutor Marc Keast reminded her that she could have taken Ethan Crumbley home from school when a teacher discovered a violent drawing. He stayed and shot up the school.
