Riverside County now has 195 coronavirus cases

Update, as of Saturday afternoon, Riverside County now has 195 confirmed coronavirus cases. The number of deaths is still 8.

Breakdown of Riverside County cases by cities and ages

Here is a breakdown of cases in Riverside County as of 3:30 PM on March 27:

  • 80+ = 13
  • 65 to 79 =36
  • 40 to 64 = 77
  • 18 to 39 = 56
  • 5 to 17 = 2

Seven of those deaths are from the Coachella Valley and one death is from the mid-region area including Hemet, Banning and Anza according to the Riverside University Health System.

In Riverside County, the first locally acquired case of COVID-19, more commonly called novel coronavirus, was reported to be a patient at Eisenhower Health. That was on March 7.
