Indio furniture showroom open again after two recent closures

Open again. Mathis Brothers furniture showroom in Indio has once again reopened its doors to customers.

The showroom, like many businesses across the Coachella Valley, was closed after the statewide stay at home order.

Earlier this month, the store was reopened for about a week.
During that time, customers passed health screenings in order to enter.

Some other furniture stores located in the Coachella Valley are operating by appointment only.

It's unclear if Mathis Brothers will do the same. We are working to get an official comment from Mathis Brothers and from Riverside County officials.

Mathis Brothers has 30 stores in several states. The closest is in Ontario in San Bernardino County. The Indio location is the only store that's been closed during the coronavirus pandemic
