Several tax files stolen from H&R Block in Cathedral City

The Cathedral City Police Department is investigating a break-in at the H&R Block office on Date Palm Drive, near the Cardenas Market.

According to Cathedral City Police, unidentified suspects broke into the lockbox attached to the main door. Inside the lockbox was a key to the business.

Police say no money was stolen but several tax files were. It's unknown whose exact files were taken.
