If you are registered, you should have received a booklet with information about candidates and Proposition One.
Proposition One proposes major changes to the way Californians can access mental health and substance abuse treatments. It also aims to address the state's homelessness crisis. Hear more about Proposition One, and its opponents, in a report from Jennifer Franco.
Some of the major races we're looking at today include the race for State Assembly between Democrats Christy Holsatge and Jamie Swain, and Republican Greg Wallis.
Another significant race is for State Senator of the 19th District. That race is between former Palm Springs Mayor Lisa Middleton and current Republican Senator Rosilice Ochoa Bogh.
