Palm Springs Pride kicks off with inaugural ‘Latin Pride Fiesta’
The 2023 Palm Springs Pride got underway Thursday evening with its inaugural Latin Pride Fiesta in the Arenas District.
The celebration, hosted by Chichi Fuera, featured a lineup of artists performing including DJ Ben, Mareeka's Reventon Latino Drag Revue, Gisselle Woo and the Night Owls, and DJ Tatiana.
"I'm so excited about Latino pride, I think you know we really need to make sure we're representing the lgbtq community... so why not celebrate them and have a pride that really celebrates Latin music, it's great," said Palm Springs Mayor Grace Garnere
Pride Week will continue until Sunday with events scheduled each day, including Broadway in Drag Friday, a performance from Idina Menzel Saturday, and the Pride Parade Sunday.
