KESQ station group to broadcast 12 Coachella Valley Firebirds games live during the 2023-24 season
The Gulf California Broadcast Company, owners of KESQ News Channel 3, KDFX Fox 11, KCWQ CW 5, and 3 other television and radio stations, is excited to announce a renewed partnership with the Coachella Valley Firebirds that will include 12 televised games for viewers in the Coachella Valley.

The broadcasts will be provided by the team and will include a half-hour pre-game show hosted by Gino LaMont and Grant Fuhr. Play-by-play will be called by Firebirds announcer Evan Pivnick.
“We are excited about this partnership and bringing the games to viewers in their homes”, says General Manager Jerry Upham. “The Firebirds certainly have proved that they are popular with fans and this gives them another way to see the games.”

KCWQ can be seen over the air by antenna on Channel 39.2, on Spectrum channels 5 and 1211 as well as on Direct TV and Dish Network.
KDFX can be seen over the air by antenna on Channel 39.1, on Spectrum channels 11 and 1206, as well as Frontier cable, Direct TV and Dish Network.
