Firebirds defeat Admirals 5-2 in Milwaukee, take 3-0 series lead in Western Conference Finals

The Coachella Valley Firebirds defeated the Milwaukee Admirals 5-2 in Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night.

The Firebirds are 9-1 in the postseason and take a commanding 3-0 series lead against the Admirals. Coachella Valley is now just one win away from another trip to the Calder Cup Finals.

Game 4 is on Thursday. There will be a watch party at Spotlight 29 Casino.

The first goal came about 30 seconds into the game.

That opened up the floodgates, leading to three more unanswered goals.

The Admirals finally answered back in the 2nd period, scoring twice.

The Firebirds stopped any hope for a possible comeback late in the 3rd period, scoring an empty net goal.

The Firebirds have won 9 straight games in the Calder Cup playoffs. It's also the Admirals' second home loss in the playoffs.
